Motion Control

Precision XY positioning for repeatable inspections

The Optysys gantry system uses a GRBL-powered XY stage to move the camera with sub-millimeter precision. Position the camera anywhere in the work area using keyboard controls, jogging, or direct coordinate input.

Movement Modes

Multiple ways to position your camera

Whether you need quick repositioning or fine-grained control, Optysys provides the right movement mode for every inspection task.
  • Jog Control
Short and long jog distances with configurable speeds. Hold Shift for precision slow movement. Full keyboard and numpad support.
  • Rapid Moves
G0 rapid positioning for quick camera relocation. Move instantly to any XY coordinate within the work area.
  • Homing

Always know where you are

Optysys continuously polls the GRBL controller for real-time position data and state information. The current XY coordinates are displayed in the interface, updated at configurable refresh intervals. The system tracks all GRBL states -- Idle, Run, Hold, Jog, Alarm, Door, Check, Home, and Sleep -- and provides visual feedback so operators always know the system status.
